President
Born & raised in Rogersville, Missouri, Colt brings a passion for quality and a clear vision for the future to everything he does. Fair, honest, and thoughtful, he’s always looking for ways to make his customers happy and partners more involved, while consistently staying a step ahead of the competition. His respect for hard work ripples through the team he’s assembled to serve your needs for building stone, hardscaping, outdoor lighting, landscaping, drainage & erosion control.
Along with his wife Melanie, Colt & his family welcomed a new addition in 2022, their first born son! They couldn’t be more tickled to call the Ozarks home for their family. When not providing top notch service on the business side, you’ll likely find him driving his dump truck, affectionately known as “Big Blue”.

Also a Rogersville native, Ashley brings an enthusiasm, energy, and smiling face to everything she does. Whether she’s sharing her Techo-Bloc expertise and eye for design to help guide you through the selection process, loading trucks in the materials yard, or in the trenches on the jobsite, her anything-is-possible attitude, ingenuity and gumption make her an essential part of the Modern Earth team. As a wife and mother of two girls, she adds a caring touch in helping our customers find the best products for their outdoor living projects. Brandon Paynter
Landscape Design & Horticulture Specialist
An expert in plant selection and the art and practice of landscape and garden cultivation and management, Brandon brings a warmth, kindness and sincerity to everything he does. He’s also our lead in-house 3D designer, so he can help bring clarity to your vision with fully rendered 3D models & flythroughs that show you exactly how your spaces and landscapes will come to life. Advanced models demonstrate how outdoor lighting can enhance the look of your space, and even help us study how light, shadow & seasonal changes can transform & enhance your outdoor spatial experience.
